Myrea Pettit was born in 1970 and lives in Northamton in the U.K. She spent her spare childhood time drawing, painting and colouring. She has always been fascinated by the world of fairies and related stories. She admires the illustrations of Margaret Tarrent, Cicely Mary Barker, Rene Cloke
and Arthur Rackham Her other interests include classical music, conservation, and wildlife. Her original fairy drawings were created for poetry or storybooks to inspire the imagination of both children and adults.
