Central space is 6.2inches (15.8cm) to allow room for the light fitting.

This inner part of the sun is stencilled first. The inner stencil piece is a semi-circular stencil that is rotated once through 180 degrees to complete the circle.

The outer rays are stencilled after completion of the inner circle This outer ray stencil covers a one quarter circle It needs to be rotated through 90 degrees until the design is complete.
